Tribal ICWA Program Survey

FY27 ICWA Base Funding, Services, and Staffing Survey

Tribal ICWA programs carry significant responsibilities with limited and often inconsistent funding. This survey is designed to help assess how Tribes currently use ICWA funding, what services are provided, what services are not provided due to limited capacity, and where additional base funding may be needed for FY27 and beyond.

The goal is to better understand staffing levels, service gaps, court involvement, placement capacity, prevention services, and administrative needs across Tribal ICWA programs.
