FIND THE RIGHT TRIBAL CONTACT
ICWA representatives, designated agents, and tribal offices
Not sure which term to search? Start with the Tribe’s name. These terms describe related roles, and the right contact depends on what you need.
01ICWA designated agents
A Tribe may designate an agent to receive ICWA notices. The Bureau of Indian Affairs publishes designated agent contact information. Confirm the current agent and mailing address before sending notice.
02Tribal ICWA representatives
You may be looking for an ICWA representative, coordinator, or tribal ICWA office. Search the Tribe or the person’s name, then contact the listed office to confirm who handles your inquiry.
03Qualified expert witnesses
If you need ICWA qualified expert witness (QEW) testimony, confirm that separately with the Tribe. A directory listing does not establish that a representative provides QEW services.
Explore ICWA terms and FAQs → Contact information can change. Verify details with the Tribe and the BIA’s ICWA designated agent listing. This directory helps you locate contacts; it does not confirm service of notice.
